New Pork City is a city in Mother 3 and a stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It is a large urban town, being the capital of the Nowhere Islands. It is led by Porky

Mother 3

In Mother 3, the town is first visited when Lucas is invited to go to the town. The party arrives through a flying limousine. The city has many attractions, including an arcade and an amusement park. In addition to this, a person lottery and a theater showing Ness's adventures from EarthBound can also be found. Another part of the city is the various Mole Cricket shops, which can also be found in the sewers of the town. In another location of the town, access to the town's sewers can be found. The Empire Porky Building is the biggest building of the town, and is the main location of the final events of Mother 3.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, New Pork City is one of the game's biggest stages, being about the size of a stage deemed large through the Custom Stage option of the game. Sometimes the Ultimate Chimera appears in the city. It will randomly appear and KO any fighter if it attacks them during this short time. Most of the buildings of the city can be found in the background of the stage, with the Empire Porky Building standing out.

Trivia

The name for New Pork City comes from New York City, one of North America's biggest cities and former capital of the United States of America, with the Pork part coming from Porky, the game's antagonist.
New Pork City has various references to people and objects from EarthBound, such as a cardboard cut-out of Dr. Andonuts's lab.
