Ness is a boy from the town of Onett. Ness is the protagonist of EarthBound.

In EarthBound

Ness's adventure first starts when a meteor crashes in Onett. He goes to investigate, but goes back. He later comes back with his neighbor Pokey to find Picky, Pokey's brother. While there, Ness meets Buzz Buzz who tells Ness about Ness and three others going to save the world from Giygas, the game's main antagonist.

In the Super Smash Bros. series
