Bald Head "B.H." Pirkle is a character in EarthBound. He is the mayor of Onett, and is shown to be a lazy person, usually preferring for other people to do his work. Ness first meets him when he is trying to find a way to enter to Giant Step. He asks Ness to get rid of the Sharks in exchange for the Key to the shack. He gives out the key once the player has defeated Frank. At the end of the game, he is shown to have been re-elected because he had taken credit for Ness disbanding the Sharks.

B.H. Pirkle's similarities to other mayoral figures in the series, namely A. Goodman of Podunk and Pusher of Tazmily Village, seem intentional.

Pirkle's name in Japanese (G.H., pronounced "geha") is an anagram for "hage", meaning "bald". One of EarthBound's localizers, Marcus Lindblom, confirmed that the B.H. initials in English stand for "bald head", to carry through the joke from the Japanese subtly.
