Miss Fake is a character in EarthBound who owns the Topolla Theater in Fourside, where she resides in a room in the western portion of the theater. She forces the Runaway Five to work at the theater in order for them pay off their debt of $1,000,000. According to Gorgeous, she put them into a wrongful contract. After Ness has defeated the five big moles, which interfere with the excavation of the Gold Mine, he will be rewarded with a Diamond. When shown to Miss Fake, she will accept the Diamond as a repayment for the debt, and rip the Runaway Five's contract, while stating that Ness should consider himself lucky, as the Diamond would be worth $50 at its max; this is however a lie, as she thereafter can be seen thrilled about the high amount of money she has made.
