Matt is a character in Mother 3, who resides in Tazmily Village. He is the husband of Jill and the father of Biff and Butch. He often hiccups, being drunk most of the time.

In Mother 3

In Chapter 1

Matt can be seen knocking on Isaac's door frantically during the fire. After Flint rescues Fuel, Matt thanks Flint for rescuing him, but doesn't recognize him, as his face is covered in soot. During Hinawa's funeral, he can be found with Jill, sobbing and claiming he "can't not drink at a time like this."

In Chapter 2

Matt can be found in his home, where he tells the player more about Scamp.

In Chapter 3

Matt does not attend while Fassad gives his speech; his son Biff, however, orders a Happy Box for himself.

In Chapter 4

Matt spends his time watching his Happy Box at home. His yard is turned into the "Tazmily Training Facility", the Pigmask Army training ground.

In Chapter 7

Towards the end of the chapter, Matt and his family move to New Pork City.

In Chapter 8

Matt can be found next to his wife Jill at the Porky Amusement Park. He claims that he heard Lucas was calling him a boozehound, and corrects him by saying he's just a middle-aged man with hiccups.
