The Gang Zombie is an unused enemy in EarthBound Beginnings, sharing the name pointers with the used enemy Gang Zombie. It closely resembles Pippi. Unlike used enemies, using the Check command will not give a description of her, only listing her Offense and Defense. In battle, they seem to only use the basic attack command, and, when defeated, they "Regain all senses," unlike the used Gang Zombie enemy, which "Returns to dust." This might mean at one point in the game, Pippi was going to be possessed and then fought by Ninten to regain senses. In the Mother 1+2 version of the game, while it has its own name pointer and a pointer for its Check description, they are both blank. Because palette data is stored with the encounter group rather than the enemy itself, the enemy has no colors matched to it.
