The Gang Zombie is an enemy present in EarthBound Beginnings, found only in the South Cemetery near Podunk. It's the toughest enemy in the area, due to its powerful Smash attack. Visually, it resembles a stereotypical member of a criminal gang whom has become a zombie. The enemy is dressed in a hat, a coat and a pair of pants, which all are colored brown; it does also have red shoes and a shirt underneath the coat. It can only appear alone in battle

Trivia
- In the Japanese version of the game, the Gang Zombie has bloodstains on its shirt and lacks a tie, which is what replaces the stains in the unreleased english version and Mother 1+2 version due to the blood being considered as too violent.
- Its clay model has aspects from both versions, as it is wearing a tie while being covered in blood.
