The Twinkle Elementary School is a school in Merrysville in EarthBound Beginnings. One of Ninten's party members, Lloyd, attends the school.
Layout
Twinkle Elementary School consists of two floors and twelve classrooms, with six on each floor, and a rooftop lookout. On the first floor, the rightmost room is where the janitor is found, who opens the rooftop when spoken to. The middle room on the right hand side is the nurse's office where Ninten can have his party's HP recovered, but she can't heal status problems. The leftmost room on the right side is the lab, which Lloyd accidently blows up with a Bottle Rocket during the events of the game. After he does this, the Mysterious Teacher will sell goods that Lloyd can use in the room he blew up.
On the second floor, the second to last room contains a Plastic Bat and a Slingshot. In the last room, the girl with red hair will give Ninten a cold when spoken to. The rooftop, where Lloyd is found, is accessed from the second floor.
In EarthBound Beginning
Ninten visits the school on his first visit to Merrysville. When attempting to go to the rooftop, he will find that the door to the rooftop is locked. Ninten then goes to the janitor's room, and asks for the key. The janitor complains to Ninten about his wife, and says he is a good kid, asking Ninten to follow him to the rooftop. On the rooftop, Lloyd can be found in a trash can, where he is hiding from the other kids as he is often teased by them. After bringing him a Bottle Rocket from the Sweet's Little Factory, he will blow up one of the classrooms and join Ninten's party.
