{{{description}}} |
Starman Jr. is an enemy in Mother and also the second boss of the game, who resembles a smaller version of a Starman with pink coloring. He is the cause of one of many odd occurrences in Podunk early in the game, which is the hostile and crazy behaviour all of the animals at the Choucream Zoo display, which in turn is caused by an odd sound that Starman Jr. is responsible for. Ninten grants access to the zoo by the mayor after Ninten has saved Pippi from the cemetery in hope that he also will deal with the strange circumstances there. Starman Jr. resides in a capsule at the topmost floor of the Superintendent's Office in the eastern part of the zoo, which can be troublesome to reach because of the long and tricky way there filled with aggressive animals. However, when he has been defeated, the sound which is the cause of the animals' unusual behaviour will disappear and result in the zoo becoming a safe place again.
Defeating Starman Jr. will be significantly easier if Ninten has recieved the Franklin Badge from Pippi prior to the battle, as it will prevent his PK Beam γ from causing an instant knockout and instead reflect it back (though the reflected attack won't have any effect on him).
Text | Effect |
---|---|
PK Beam α | Deals 28-32 points of damage to one party member |
PK Beam γ | Instantly knocks out one party member |
In-game description
