The Pencil Eraser is a key item in EarthBound and Mother 3. The item is an invention of Apple Kid's. It is obtained after Ness has invested in Apple Kid and returns to Twoson from Peaceful Rest Valley. It is capable of erasing pencil-shaped iron statues (Octopus statues in the Japanese release).
Usage
The Pencil Eraser will erase an iron pencil-shaped statue which is preventing the player's progress in seversl points of the game.
