PSI Shield is a PSI technique, first introduced in EarthBound Beginnings. Its exact effect varies between games, however, all variations of PSI Shield involve protecting the target from various dangers. In EarthBound, its first appearance is when Buzz Buzz puts up a PSI shield Σ to protect the party from Starman Junior's PSI attacks.
