I like having stuff like this public. Mostly to alert people of what I'm plotting to do next and stuff? I tend to ramble a lot though and props to you if you can pick apart what my point is.

See, look, I'm rambling again. :|

Current focus: images.... I think. I can't stay focused very well, but that's what I want to work on. :V

Simple notes

Okay, so, since we've pretty much got all the articles we can think of... I think it's time to do some expansion! Namely:

• Write up character biographies (Tazmily villagers...)
• Adding item lists to location pages
• Getting attack lists for enemies -- especially Mother 3 ones (how are we gonna do that anyway)
• Also, I need to go through the image improvement requests and articles needing images...
• There's probably some more stuff that needs Japanese names (Multus and Sun Braid have done a pretty good job doing these while I was busy derping around though)
• Finding someone who can make a new skin! Urhgrughrhg hate ;_;

My habit of lurking is kind of bad. Um. I check back here a lot, really. But I haven't been able to nudge my motivation to do things.

FUN DESIGN REVISION STUFF YAY.

Now that we're in NIWA, I feel as though making the site not-ugly is a huge priority.

• Start creating more templates
  • Specifics: Revise the so-called "pretty" list of enemies - it works but hot damn that looks ugly.
• Item organization:
  • Mother
    • List of recovery items in Mother
    • List of equippable items in Mother (equippable sounds weird, any other ideas)
    • List of battle items in Mother
    • List of key items in Mother
    • List of miscellaneous items in Mother
  • EarthBound
    • List of recovery items in EarthBound
    • List of equippable items in EarthBound
    • List of battle items in EarthBound
    • List of key items in EarthBound
    • List of miscellaneous items in EarthBound
  • Mother 3
    • List of recovery items in Mother 3
    • List of equippable items in Mother 3
    • List of battle items in Mother 3
    • List of key items in Mother 3
    • List of miscellaneous items in Mother 3
• Making the item tables not look bland and crappy. This will be hard!
  • Versions: Armor/weapons, recovery, in-battle, misc and key items. A shop-specific one would be cool too.
• Find images for things-- find character sprites, scan in game boxes, and make useless icons for things when I get the chance. I can't get screenshots, though. Please note that I have a habit of lying a lot. Of course I can get screenshots. They are incredibly easy to get. What ever made you think otherwise?
  • Good progress on this so far! I'm mostly getting overworld sprites for characters, and any alternate sprites and stuff they may have. Probably going to scan more things from M1+2 and my M2 guide, as well.

Stuff to do out of boredom

• Drawing icons for the main page. I've done a couple but I hate how they came out. Actually, in general, I should work on prettying up the main page. The colors are nice but it's so empty. <_>
• Figure out what the hell is with that stray </div> in the copyright footer, wtf. (still have yet to figure this out)
• Uploading images
• Continue lurking on Starmen. First posting plushies and doodles.. next, THE WORLD! MUAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!

Site guidelines to implement..??

• Play nice! I have hopes for this place being friendly and open to its editors. I'm frankly tired of looking at places and seeing the staff treat everyone outside of their little circle like they're a pile of crap.
• On translations; For Mother 3 things... I apologize for not really talking to anyone first before going through with this, but I ended up using the fan translations for everything... haha. Although I know that it's not always direct, to make the translation more 'official' sounding, I'd still put the fan translation names in the English fields for templates and in articles, and then use the kana/direct translation for the little (Japanese: ) sections in articles. Did that make sense? I hope it did. See, this is why I don't write policy pages.
• Spruce up policy pages, and make them rather lighthearted and fun. It makes it a lot less of a bore for newcomers to read, and it fits the personality of the Mother series pretty well. Brought this up with other staff, sounded like it was agreed upon. Neat!

I sure do have a lot of work to do, huh.
