Pigmask Colonels are enemies in Mother 3. They are the only enemy to drop the Awesome Cloak, at a 3% chance. They are also the only type of common enemy to start the fight with a shield already activated.
The Pigmask Colonel's battle sprite shares its pose exactly with the pose of "N-Dude" in a flash resembling a Mother-series battle which could be found on Brownie Brown's website prior to the release of Mother 3.[1]
