Exit mice are a type of mouse that allows Ness to exit any dungeon with no negative effect. They can be found in several locations, such as south of Onett, in a gold mine in the Dusty Dunes Desert, or within the Stonehenge base.

Trivia

• Although normally exit mice cannot be used to exit the Tunnel of the Past, a programming glitch in Mother 1+2 allows Ness to use it and succesfully escape in the final room where Giygas resides. Oddly, he appears inside the entrance in Fire Spring after using the exit mouse.
