Gender

  • On each of the magypsy's pages, they are referred to as males. On pretty much every other source on the internet, they're referred to as females, which makes a lot of sense besides the five o clock shadow on some of them. I don't wanna change anything major, but since almost every other website says so, I think we should change it.
Yeah, I didn't really know what to do about these guys... I used 'he', personally, since it can also be used as a gender neutral pronoun. Saying "it" to avoid the issue also kinda makes them sound more like objects or animals.
"She" does make sense, though, and I'd be in favor for changing the pronouns around. →Tinā δ 18:03, 30 November 2010 (MST)
I just personally think it flows more naturally as female, especially since they constantly speak w/ hearts. It just feels awkward to hear them being referred to as males. It's really anyone's guess, though.
If no one objects within the next 24 hours or so, i think I'll change it. It just makes more sense. -Pwesty
I'm fine with that. There shouldn't be that much to change, anyway- probably just on chapter synopses and Kumatora's page, besides the main Magypsy page and their individual ones. :P →Tinā δ 17:00, 1 December 2010 (MST)
I changed the magypsy's pages, but I probably missed something. It's getting late where I live, so I'll change the rest tomorrow. I did find one other issue, however. Look below.
I also changed the Magyspsy page itself. Also, as a side note, I didn't edit Locria, as I bet someone will have a fit if they see (Supposedly) Fassad being called a female.
I think they should be referred as males, It actually says in the Translation's Memo that the Magypsies are men that act more like women than women do. The thought that they are women is a big misunderstanding. It is notable that the Magypsies have to shave daily. -Sausagefanclub
Bear in mind that the memo is an unused feature, and so it might not be 100% accurate. →Tinā δ 21:41, 11 August 2011 (EDT)

Order

Can't you do the magypsies in any ordr besides Aeolia, Ionia, and Locria? On the magypsy's individual pages, it tells their 'order number', but you can do 2-5 in any order if my memory serves. One page even says that they give the honey to Ionia, even though I think it's the last one you talk to before Ionia. Does anyone know for sure?
I do know for sure that you can do things out of order. I may have mentioned it on one of the pages -- Seven Needles, maybe? -- but I went with the 'traditional' order for most of the pages. Mostly because the game kind of pushes you in a specific order naturally: the transciever bugging you to go to the Chimera Lab, and then being bugged by the mole cricket to visit him... which leads to the mountain, and then landing next to the Mr. Saturn note which leads to Saturn Valley.... etc. It just seemed most fluid for chapter synopses and the like, although it does need to be noted that you can do the 2-5th Needles in any order more often. →Tinā δ 20:02, 1 December 2010 (MST)
I just put 'typically' in front of each order number, soo it tells you that you don' need to but should. Also, I entirely took out the part of Mixolydia giving the jar of honey since it really is the last one who pulls it just doesn't sond good if you say she 'typically gives it to you.'
