The Centipede is one of the earliest enemies in Mother, and thus one of the weakest in the game. As its name implies it's based on a real-life centipede, though it's remade to look bipedal as only two of its legs have feet, while the other limbs act as arms. It's also dressed with two green shoes and two green mittens on two of its hand-like tarsi. It doesn't possess any special abilities and has poor stats, and should therefore not oppose much of a threat.
