The Soul Consuming Flame is an enemy in EarthBound. Found in Fire Spring, it resembles a blob of lava with a face, and is capable of using powerful fire-based attacks.

Trivia
- Although it's supposed to have a defense stat of 261, since the SNES cannot deal with stats above 255, it overflows and goes back down to just 6. The same can happen to a playable character's stats if you use the Rock candy trick too many times.
