Monkey Cave: Difference between revisions

The '''Monkey Caves''' is a location in [[EarthBound]]. It is located in the [[Dusty Dunes Desert]], and is home to many monkeys and a man named [[Talah Rama]]. It is here where [[Ness]] learns the [[PSI]] technique of [[Teleport|Teleport α]]. The monkeys inside will block doorways to the deeper parts of the caves unless given certain objects, usually food.

The Monkey Caves first appear in EarthBound after Ness and [[Jeff]] defeat the [[Mani-Mani Statue]] in [[Moonside]]. Continuing their search for [[Paula]], Ness gets a call from [[Apple Kid]] saying that he had a new invention shipped to them through the [[Escargo Express]] "neglected class". After seeing the delivery man, he informs the two that he left the package in a cave in the desert. Ness and Jeff find the cave and the cave and enter. Inside, they find many monkeys who are blocking paths of the cave. In exchange for permission to continue, they ask for an array of items like Pizzas and Wet Towels. At the end, they find Talah Rama, a man who meditates inside the caves. He gives them Apple Kid's invention, and tells them that a certain monkey will teach Ness how to [[teleport]].
