In Snowman, some people mention the persons gone missing in [[Youngtown]];<ref>"I heard everyone in Youngtown has disappeared." - NPC</ref> a father and daughter located at the town's train station express concern over the mother of the family, who they has not heard from since she left for Youngtown.<ref>"I was on my way to Youngtown to look for my wife. But, without the train running, how can I get there?" - NPC</ref><ref>"Mom left for Youngtown. We haven't heard from her for days now. Dad and I are going there to look for her." - NPC</ref> An individual who claims to be clairvoyant can be found outside of the train station, who predicts that the party will return to [[Union Station]], which they later do when heading to [[Yucca Desert]]. Inside the town, a girl says that her grandfather lives in Yucca Desert, and asks Ninten to say hello to him if he ever would meet him;<ref>"My grandfather lives in Yucca Desert. If you see him, please say hello for me." - NPC</ref> she is likely referring to the man who gives the party a tank in exchange for ten [[List of key items in Mother#Ticket Stub|Ticket Stubs]]. A man in the town also mentions Yucca Desert, as he asks Ninten to say hello to the bones of a camel in the desert, whom he once knew.<ref>"Please say hello to the camel's bones in Yucca Desert. I knew that camel once upon a time." - NPC</ref> Three male individuals in the town will affect Ninten with a [[Status ailment#Cold|cold]] when interacted with. Several people also mention [[Ana]], and the fact that she lives in a chateau.<ref>"Ana's house is a chateau, not a mansion. But, I'll bet you already knew that." - NPC</ref><ref>"There is a chateau in the mountains to the east.
