Mother Ship

The cross-section of the Mother Ship visible to Ninten and company at the end of EarthBound Beginnings.
The Mother Ship is an incredibly large spaceship in EarthBound Beginnings, piloted by Giegue. It is responsible for the abductions of many adults in Youngtown, as well as Ana's mother and many other townsfolk. A captured man in a cave on Mt. Itoi instructs Ninten's party to destroy it before attempting to rescue him. Upon entering the cave at the top of the mountain, the Mother Ship can be seen flying towards Ninten, initiating a battle with Giegue. Giegue instructs Ninten to board the Mother Ship with him --but only him-- before Ninten promptly refuses. Upon singing all eight melodies to Giegue, he claims that he will meet Ninten again, and makes his escape using the Mother Ship.
