Louis Philippe in 2002.

Louis Philippe, (real name: Philippe Auclair) is a London-based singer, songwriter, producer, and arranger. He, in a joint effort with Keiichi Suzuki, performed the song Flying Man for the Mother soundtrack. He has performed music in both English and French.

He was raised in Normandy, France, where he studied and taught philosophy before releasing his first EP, Les Disques du Crépuscule in 1985. [1] Later, he was the singer for his most well-known collaboration, Él records, eventually becoming the lead songwriter. After production for this project ceased, he split from his former band, The Arcadians, and now continues solo songwriting.
