::Oh, was there a default for Loid? I only recall there being name defaults in the M1+2 port, although it's been a while since I've played EB0. In that case... yeah, definitely should move it to Loid, then. {{User:Tina/sig}} 16:27, 15 December 2010 (MST)

:::Whoops. Forgot about the tiny and important aspect that default names don't occur in that game for the main characters, so I suppose that that's excluded as a valid reason. Hm, then I don't have any officially statements as arguments to the name change, it's just that his name has always seemed implied as Loid because of it being generally used :V. I do at least think that the page should mention both as possible names. ~ [[User:Sun Braid|Sun Braid]] 06:42, 16 December 2010 (MST)

Name

I'm wondering if this should be at Loid-- since if I recall, the new Mother figurines that have been released recently have had "Loid" on them in plain English... and while Lloyd technically makes more sense and all, it's a little less official. Opinions? →Tinā δ 14:20, 15 December 2010 (MST)

Agreed. Not only does it fit better in comparison to the japanese name (although R's and L's often act as exchangeables in japanese), but the ROM release has been confirmed as legitimate by Phil Sandhop, the original script writer of the english beta version; where he is called Loid (though my sureness about the subject doesn't reach 100%). Dunno about the names of any figurines though, but I do still support the name change. ~ Sun Braid 15:39, 15 December 2010 (MST)
