The Nintendo 64, often shortened as the N64 is a fifth generation console; Nintendo's fourth home console. It was once going to have an extension known as the Nintendo 64 DD, however it was canceled in America due to poor sales in regions where it was released.

A Mother known outside of Japan by the unofficial name EarthBound 64 was supposed to be released under the Nintendo 64 DD, it was eventually moved to the Game Boy Advance and renamed Mother 3. No games in the Mother series where released on the Nintendo 64, however Ness was featured as a playable character in Super Smash Bros.

Features

The Nintendo 64 was Nintendo's first four player console. The controllers had three points, a D-Pad, an analog stick, L and R shoulder buttons, 4 C buttons, B Button, and A Button. It was Nintendo's first 3D rendering console, displaying 64-bit graphics.
