Ness's Nightmare is a representation of the evil part of Ness's mind, and he must defeat it to overcome his evil side; appropriately, the sprite of this enemy is extremely similar to that of the [[Mani-Mani Statue]]. As a part of Ness, it has the ability to use [[PSI Rockin]]. It begins the battle with [[PSI Shield|PSI Shield α]], but it can also cast [[Shield|Shield β]] on itself.
