'''Butch''' is a character in Mother 3, who resides in [[Tazmily Village]], alongside the rest of his family. He is a minor character, but is relatively important to the plot. He is a farmer raising pigs and other livestock prior to [[Chapter 4]].

Butch is first seen during Chapter 1 during an optional, story expanding visit. He can be seen talking to a [[Fassad|strange man]] that has visited the village of [[Tazmily Village|Tazmily]]. The strange man is talking about a trade. In [[Chapter 2]], Butch stops [[Duster]] to show him something new. He tells Duster than a mysterious peddler traded him [[Dragon Power|"money"]] for all of his pigs. He then hides the money in the town well to prevent somebody from stealing it. Later, after finding the money to be missing, he accuses Duster of taking it because he was the only person who he had told where it was hidden. He is among the many residents of Tazmily Village to move to [[New Pork City]].
