Ape Inc. is a Japanese toy company founded by Tsunekazu Ishihara. It was involved in the development of the first two games in the Mother series. In November 8, 1995, the company was reformatted into Creatures Inc., and is now known as one of the developers of the Pokémon franchise. Hirokazu Tanaka, one of the composers of Mother and EarthBound, is currently the president of the company.
