When the city is victim to many ominous occurrences, he is mostly concerned about how it will affect the upcoming re-election. He asks [[Ninten]] to find a [[Pippi|girl]] who has gotten lost in the city's [[South Cemetery|cemetery]] in an attempt to increase his status. Once Ninten has rescued her, he will reward him with [[Dollar|$]]100 and let Abbott give him the [[List of key items in Mother#Zoo Key|key]] to the [[Choucream Zoo|zoo]], hoping that he also will deal with problems there. He will however not reward Ninten for completing the latter task, instead simply removing the roadblock near the entrance to [[Magicant]]. The Japanese Manuel states that Ninten has a low opinion of him.
