Brick Road(alternatively Brickroad) built the dungeon named after him, in Winters. He eventually meets Jeff and Bubble Monkey, saying that he is working on a new dungeon, Dungeon Man. He has the habit of leaving signs scattered his dungeons, giving advice to the player.

The party enters the Dungeon Man tower in hopes of finding a mean of travel to Deep Darkness. After Ness and company reach the top of the tower, meeting Brick Road himself, he will temporarily join the party as non-playable character, controlling the whole tower, dealing high amount of damage to enemies. He is soon, however, unable to follow the party after trees block the Dungeon Man's path towards the swamp; unable to continue, he allows Ness to use his submarine to travel to Deep Darkness.
