'''Lier X. Agerate''' is a character in [[EarthBound]]. He is a mysterious man who live on the mountains in [[Onett]]. In his home, he has dug a hole underground to look for treasure. Sometime before the beginning of the game, he finds a [[Mani-Mani Statue|mysterious golden statue]] underground. He shows the statue to [[Ness]] after he returns [[Picky]] home. It is later revealed that the statue was stolen from him by [[Mr. Carpainter]].
