:Switching to rackspacecloud you have to change your thinking, it's not about the price but the type of hosting. Shared hosting and vps/dedicated/cloud are fundamentally different things. I'm one for cloud hosting myself, I'm using rackspacecloud right now and we're using at work too, picked it out from other cloud hosts because the base prices for the smallest instances are the cheapest (most of what we're doing is in development, not production yet so dev leans in favor of cheaper prices). Though I've been looking into other hosts for production (the proportional ram/disk lock on rackspace isn't quite what you want on real cloud hosting), iirc Elastic Hosts looked like it had interesting potential. == Interwiki Standards ==
NIWA recently did a staff release agreeing to have the interwiki links across all wiki's be the same to make it easier for those who help out multiple wiki's as well as the new users on each prospective wiki.
Here is the table as it is now:
{| class="wikitable"
|-
! Code
| Url
|-
! Bulbapedia
| http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/$1
|-
! LylatWiki

In addition to using these links, we are free to use additional prefixes like '''Bulba:''' and '''BP:''' and '''Bulbapedia:''' for bulbapedia. Which means we have the following choice to make:
# We change all interwiki links to the standard and only use the standard from that point on.
# We use acronyms in addition to the standard and then the editor chooses which code to use.
There are pro's and con's to each one, so before implementing it, i am giving you guys a chance to discuss which way we should go (unless i am overridden :D ). See [http://starfoxwiki.org/Lylat_Wiki:Corneria/2010-11-9] for Lylat Wiki's discussion. [[User:Tacopill|Tacopill]] 11:09, 9 November 2010 (MST).
