Mondo Mole's powerful attacks and support [[PSI]] can make it a difficult boss to defeat. However, Mondo Mole is extremely vulnerable to [[Paralysis]] and [[PSI Flash]]; since it can only damage the party with physical attacks, it is greatly weakened if it is paralyzed or starts crying uncontrollably. After its defeat, [[Ness]] can enter Lilliput Steps and record the second piece of the melody on his [[Sound Stone]].
