The Forgotten Man is a character in Mother. He blocks the exit to the Magicant Underground, moaning about how his life is meaningless. If Ninten chooses to forget about him, he will disappear.
In the Japanese version of Mother, if Ninten insists of answering the Forgotten Man's question, he will be warped back at the entrance of the Magicant Underground.
