Bud is a character in Mother 3. He can often be found practicing comedy routines with Lou.

Most of his comedy routines follow the same pattern, which is talking about a random subject, making a pun with it, and then Bud proceeds to smack Lou on the head, followed by a simultaneous bow performed by both of them, as two-key tune is heard.

• In the Mother 3 fan translation, Bud was named after William "Bud" Abbot of the Abbott and Costello comedy duo.
