The Defense Spray is a battle item in EarthBound and Mother 3. In EarthBound only it has an upgraded form known as the Defense Shower. In EarthBound they can be repaired from the Broken spray can and Broken trumpet respectively.
In Mother 3 it has an offensive counterpart in the Offense Spray.
Usage
When used in battle, the Defense Spray will raise the defense for one party member. It can use multiple times in a single battle for a larger defensive boost. The Defense Spray can only be used once.
The Defense Shower in EarthBound has the same effect, except it applies the defense boost to the entire party and can be used an unlimited amount of times.
