The Tessie-Watching Club is, as its name states, an organization dedicated to the observation of Tessie. During the events of EarthBound, they are camped out along the northern shore of Lake Tess, awaiting the appearance of the friendly sea monster. When Jeff and Bubble Monkey pass through their campground on the way to Dr. Andonuts's lab, they allow the heroes to rest and fully recover health in one of their tents.
