Deprecate?

I'd like to consider deprecating the use of this template. It doesn't look very good, especially once multiple images start being added, and generally has a lot of inconsistency in its implementation. We could consider instead changing site css to do something to the borders of div.thumb or something along those lines if changing display is truly desired, but I think that most people are accustomed to and are satisfied by the standard gallery display. I've brought up before the template was awful to work with but never got around to doing anything about it, so I'm keen to sending it to oblivion. Having a gallery with a design would've looked nice if it worked, but this one doesn't. If possible I could rework the template to revolve around using the <gallery> parameter but for now I'd rather ditch the template altogether and use the standard layout. --Ultimate Toad 03:04, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
