Item drop after battle chances
Sword of kings 1/128 chance of finding
Inside the mechanical section of Stonehenge

The Starman Super is an enemy that appears deep within Stonehenge in EarthBound. Like others of the Starman family, it is a bipedal alien with two tentacle-like arms. Starman Supers can be distinguished from other Starmen by their golden color, which makes them appear identical to the Last Starmen from Earthbound Beginnings. Like most other Starman variants, they travel by utilizing teleportation.

In addition to their standard beam attack, Starman Supers can use Healing Ω and PSI Shield β to support their allies. They can also summon additional Starmen to assist them in battle. Starman Supers enter battle with a PSI Shield β already active, so the party must find a way to neutralize the shield before using offensive PSI.

Starman Supers are probably best known for the item they drop: the incredibly rare Sword of kings, which is the only weapon that Poo can use without lowering his stats. Since the only method of obtaining this item is through fighting Starman Supers, the party must do so before defeating the Starman Deluxe or else the Starman Supers will have vanished forever.

Text Effect

PSI Shield β Raises a PSI Shield for one enemy
Healing Ω Heals all status ailments of one enemy, including incapacitation
