---Mt. Itoi--- is one of the final areas in Mother. It is an extremely hard area, and when Shigesato Itoi was asked of this, he said that the game was so close to completion he rushed everything and didn't have time to make sure it wasn't too hard or easy. The seventh and eighth melodie are both here, or just the seventh if you are playing the Japanese version of the game. EVE is also found here, but she dies at the hands of R7038XX, bearing the seventh melody.
