Escargo Express is a company in EarthBound. Ness's sister, Tracy, ended up working for the company, which stores items for consumers. Conceptually, Escargo Express is equivalent to Ninten's Sister in Mother. Ness can call them anytime and store items three at a time. The delivery charge is $18. Many players use this to "dispose" of key items that serve no purpose after a certain point in the game, but cannot be thrown away, such as Fly Honey. Should Poo be holding the Hawk Eye when he temporarily leaves the party after the Pyramid, it will automatically be deposited with Escargo Express. Ness will receive a phone call should this happen.

To be able to call Escargo Express, the player must first call Ness's mother, that will tell about his sister working at Escargo Express, and the player will be able to call her at any time until the Point of no Return.

By calling her you can either get an item, or deposit one, but only three at a time. After calling them, in a few seconds the delivery man will come and ask for the money and the items he should deposit/give.

Some items react in certain ways when taken by Escargo Express. For example, Teddy Bears and Super Plush Bears have all their HP restored when given to them to store, then taking them back later.

Trivia

  • The name of the company is a joke, as Escargot, which is similar in spelling to Escargo, is French for snail, making the name an oxymoron.
  • Tracy is said to be younger than Ness, who is about 13, yet the Escargo Express still hires her when she undoubtedly is under a working age.
  • The name is further ironic because it takes less time for Escargo Express to reach Ness than Mach Pizza.
