Doria is one of the seven Magypsies in Mother 3. They are typically the second to have their Needle pulled, and first appears in Chapter 1. They are named after the Dorian mode of music. They have been closely guarding the Needle deep in Murasaki Forest for thousands of years, hiding it underneath one of their ponds.

Personality

Doria is shown to be very kind and understanding, sympathizing with Alec when he gets worried about Claus's safety in Chapter 1, while several of the other Magypsies treated the situation with distaste for humans.

In Mother 3

In Chapter 1

Doria was first briefly met by Flint at the monthly Magypsy party in Chapter 1, although they did not play a large role at the time.

In Chapter 7

Sometime before Chapter 7 begins, Doria finds Kumatora in one of their ponds, who had recently fallen from a Pigmask Army ship after the events of Chapter 5. Doria takes her in and lets her stay at their home. After rescuing Salsa from the Chimera Laboratory, Lucas's party finds a gate in front of their home, which Salsa opens with the Osohe Dance. After the gate is opened, Kumatora returns to Lucas's party, accompanying him for the rest of his journey. Lucas then pulls Doria's Needle, making Doria the second Magypsy to disappear; they give Lucas a razor and lipstick in remembrance of them. Salsa and Samba choose to remain at their home, safe from the Pigmask Army.
