"Crooked" Cop?

As far as I can tell, it's just a cop. Here's a screencap of a cop encounter in Twoson: [1]. I don't think he has different stats, either, I did about ~93 damage to him and he turned back to normal, so...? Delete this page and put Twoson under locations for the regular cop? →Tinā δ 10:26, 27 February 2011 (MST)

Yes, also noting that the Twoson version uses a blue-faced overworld sprite, where the Onett ones appear normal. Miles (talk) 15:30, 27 February 2011 (MST)
This must be one of the strangest Mother-related things I've seen. The dude does apparently have an enemy entry of his own according to the text dump. However, when I try to get some info through Google about the fellow, I do only stumble across discussions with vague conclusions and enemy list entries without any clear sources. I'm starting to think scrapped enemy, but we really need something wiki-valid. ~ Sun Braid 12:13, 21 March 2011 (MDT)
Just looked through ALL of EarthBound's enemy setup slots. It doesn't appear in any of them, while everything else including bosses does. Multus 16:26, 31 May 2011 (MDT)

I'd just like to see some proof of it being a Captain Strong duplicate, as is being asserted. Miles (talk) 16:40, 31 May 2011 (MDT)

I'm convinced. Miles (talk) 17:16, 31 May 2011 (MDT)

Triviaworthy? Even NoA seemed to be a little bit confused with this Crooked Cop business. Sun Braid 13:19, 21 June 2011 (EDT)

Woah I never noticed that before! It's kinda neat, actually. I guess it makes sense, though. EarthBound is pretty much empty unused enemy-wise, so I guess a single enemy would trip 'em up. Looking into EarthBound, it seems the move from Crooked Cop to Captain Strong came pretty late, too. Captain Strong appears right before Giygas in the game's programming. Sure, definitely explain that. Miles (talk) 14:44, 21 June 2011 (EDT)
