The Receiver Phone is a key item in EarthBound. It is an invention of Apple Kid's, given to Ness by his mouse.
Usage
The Receiver Phone allows Ness to receive important calls, such as when Apple Kid has invented a new item. Ness can also receive calls from other characters, such as when Tony asks for the player's name, or when Orange Kid informs that Apple Kid is missing. Ness cannot make calls with it as it is only intended to receive calls.
