Talking rocks are a series of stones with faces in EarthBound which are capable of speech. Their existence is first alluded to by the Tenda, and the first talking rock is in the passage from Tenda Village to Lumine Hall. Other talking rocks appear in Lumine Hall itself.
The most important talking rock appears in the Lost Underworld, along with a second tribe of Tendas. This rock lists off the eight Your Sanctuary locations, presumably to make sure players have found all seven of the ones before Fire Spring.
