The Rattlesnake is an enemy present in Mother. It has the same sprite design as the Snake and the Red Snake except for its color which has been changed to yellow and that a rattle now has been added to its tail. Unlike its other counterparts, it doesn't leave any item when defeated; but it does instead have two abilities. One where it approaches slowly, which essentially is the same as it doing nothing; and one where it makes an unusually powerful attack, which then leads to it getting exhausted and getting defeated by itself. The entirety of its stats is a bit less than that of the Red Snake's, as only its offense and wisdom is superior to it in terms of value.
