Super Smash Bros. Brawl, released 2008 for Wii, is the third and so far final game in the Super Smash Bros. series. It was one of the most anticipated games, mostly due to delays in its release. Super Smash Bros. Brawl was the first game in the series to feature non-Nintendo characters, namely Sonic and Snake.
Game modes
Super Smash Bros. Brawl featured many modes unavailable in the last two games, as well as those found in the two games. Classic mode, for example was kept. In this game, there were 35 characters, with some characters from its prequel being removed. Two Earthbound characters were featured: Ness from Earthbound, and Lucas, a newcomer, from Mother 3.
