Wiki News April 17th, 2013: In a Nintendo Direct video, Satoru Iwata has confirmed that EarthBound will be released on the Wii U Virtual Console in North America and Europe by the end of 2013. Finally. March 20th, 2013: Mother 2 has been released on the Wii U's Virtual Console in Japan!	Featured Picks Podunk is the first town in Mother, and is Ninten and Pippi's hometown. At the beginning of the game, many supernatural occurrences take place here, such as zombies from the cemetery nearby town, poltergeists in residents' houses, or animals going wild at the zoo.
